At sacrifice, plasma MCP-1 and SAA were measured using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in the late-stage model receiving apoA-I raising by infusions (A and B) or lentiviral gene-transfer (C and D), and in the early-stage model receiving apoA-I infusions (E and F). Data are mean ± SD.
